We enjoyed a date night tonight before doing our daily reading. The movie we watched was the Kings Speach- excellent movie. I really enjoy historical movies, this one was about King George the 6th.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing to see the difference in Kingship. The king of the universe wants His subjects to know Him, He offers great reward to those of faith, The King of Egypt was driven by a need for power and would destroy any one who wouldn't serve him or was a threat, King George was presented as a humble man reluctant to take the power and leader ship offered him- I am more like him that the others- It is my goal to be more Like Jesus, king of King faithful and obedient. With God's help I jus might end lifes journey with enough faith to be that obedient servant I desire to be.
