Many movies novels and history itself have been effected by the sacred scriptures recorded by the ancients on scrolls and clay tablets handed down over centuries.
Many faith groups today search the scriptures to support their style of worship and relationship to God, man and creation.
The laws of the land and social laws have used sacred scripture as a model in part. Even the laws governing relationships, marriage, health child rearing are dealt with by scripture.
It is my goal for 2011 to read and record on the internet the whole Bible using various translations of the text.
The reason I chose to do this publicly via the internet was to gain an accountability group or even support and input. Please follow along and read from your translation.
The creator of the universe is introduced, the recorded writings let us take a look at His relationship with mortals. It is similar to a personal journal, be prepared the history can be some times graphic or violent.
