Day 116, Bible in a year, part 1

We went to our daughters for coffee and desert tonight. I had berry pie left from the weekend I wanted to share.
Monday evenings are usually the night we go to this daughters house to join a group studying the book of Revelation, the last book of the Bible that comes with a promise of a blessing to those who read it out loud.
The study was called off because of the holiday so we decided to take our coffee and desert to the family room to relax and visit together. Soon the television came on and a movie reported to be a comedy came on. The language and subject of the movie was grossly immoral and we all agreed that this was not something we wanted to watch. With a taste of disgust and the feeling of a tarnished soul we departed coming home to do our daily Bible reading.
On our way across town we talked together about how the moral quality of movies is on the decline and decided we would have to make a decision about our subscription to satellite T.V. that we enrolled in for our boarders. It feels wrong to support the transportation of so much that is detestable to the God of creation.
The nightly news brings an increasing number of reports of natural disaster, war, immorality and crime.
The first thought we both had when discussing the content of today's media was the "Birth Pangs" talked about by Jesus. Is all this destruction and immorality a sign of the soon coming Lord?
A video of the end of times prophecy, take a look and let me know your thoughts.
